Students are taught to use QuickBooks, one of America's most popular computer software applications for small business. Although features and graphics vary slightly from year to year and version to version, the basic application and functions taught in this class can be used effectively in all versions and editions.

Although not required to take the course, a basic knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting would be extremely helpful to QuickBooks students. (See our  Bookkeeping for Small Business course).

It is important, however, that students have a good working knowledge of personal computers and are familiar with using Microsoft^® Windows applications.
