Students are taught to use the QuickBooks Pro 2007 version of this very popular computer software. Although features and graphic user interface (GUI) displays may vary slightly in other versions, the basic application and operational functions have remained consistent from version to version. 

Although a knowledge of finances or accounting is not required and many basic bookkeeping and accounting terms and principles are discussed, a basic knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting would be very helpful to QuickBooks students. (See our  Bookkeeping for Beginners course).

It is important, however, that students have a basic knowledge and familiar with using Microsoft^® Windows applications.
